Parking lot sealcoating in kansas city mo

Gorman sealcoating and striping Kansas City asphalt maintenance crew recently completed an overnight sealcoating and striping project at the Burger King on E 350 Highway in Raytown, Missouri, just southeast of downtown Kansas City. We scheduled the work after hours and had the parking lot ready to reopen before breakfast service the next morning, minimizing any disruption to customers and drive‑thru traffic.

Before we started, the Burger King parking lot surface was cracked, faded, and worn from years of traffic and weather. The existing striping and markings were barely visible, and the oxidized asphalt was losing protection against moisture and vehicle fluids, which can weaken pavement over time.

To restore the pavement, we first thoroughly cleaned the entire lot, removing dirt, debris, and vegetation so the materials would bond properly. Next, w sealed the cracks with hot rubberized crack sealant, helping prevent water from penetrating the base and causing further damage. After crack repair, we applied a uniform coat of commercial-grade asphalt sealer over the driving lanes and parking stalls, creating a fresh black surface and added protection against weather and vehicle traffic. Once the sealer cured, we re-striped the parking lot with bright, high-visibility traffic paint, including parking stall lines, drive‑thru lanes, handicap symbols, and other required markings matching the existing layout.

Project Location: Raytown, MO
